GPS Mapping Services

Patterson & Dewar Engineers in addition to our traditional survey and mapping services through our Civil Engineering Dept., now provides field mapping services. P&D has completed a number of jobs using the PDField. PDField is a joint technology development between P&D and Strategic Business Partner's, Neal Technology. The system utilizes specialized software and off-the-shelf GPS hardware to GPS locate features and in "real time" populate a goedatabase in ESRI's ArcGIS platform. The process is optimized using P&D's PDMap software.

Utilizing PDField, P&D reduces the chances of data errors that can occur when field data is converted into a GIS or CAD system
